Kirloskar Electric for the second time picks up from NTPC-Ramagundam Super Thermal Power Station an order for a large High Voltage AC Motor with identical characteristics to an existing European make one. The latest is for a 3200 KW 6.6 KV Air to Water Cooled High Voltage motor to drive the critical Boiler feed pump in stage-1. As recent as in November 2012, Kirloskar Electric had supplied a 1200 KW -8 Pole High Voltage AC Motor with energy saving high efficiency design features but identical to an existing one of the same European make to drive an ID Fan.
