Kirloskar Electric Power Generation group is pleased to announce the receipt of a prestigious order of 500kVA,750 Volts DG Sets of INR 9 crores from Indian Railways for execution on a turnkey basis for design, manufacture, supply , installation & commissioning in the power cars of Rajdhani/Shatabdi trains, proving out Rake trials & obtaining clearance. The scope comprises DG sets, starting systems, ventilation systems, filtering systems, vibration damping systems & the like. The DG sets supply power to the Air conditioners, lighting in the coaches as well as hotel loads in the pantry car of the train. Kirloskar Electric has been a preferred supplier for supply of such special systems with best track record having already supplied more than 200 numbers in the last 4 years.
